Personal thoughts:
"With more than half of the world's population live in poverty
with little or no health care, and the gap between the rich and
the poor in our society, within and between countries are growing
- the core reason of many conflicts. Perhaps one of the most important
challenges for rich countries is to share wealth, opportunities,
and responsibilities between the rich and the poor.
I don't remember where I heard the phrase "you have true happiness
when people around you have happiness," yet the older I am
the more I feel that way. My mind is in the West, but my heart is
attached to my beloved country and its people - their welfare is
never far away from my thoughts. I believe many overseas Vietnamese
also share my sentiment.
Even though Vietnam is far behind the West regarding Internet technology,
however I strongly believe that the Internet can give Vietnam the
leverage to adapt and catch up with developing countries quickly.
will help them greatly in their economic development they can benefit
with project likes Tri' Viet.
Internet if Vietnamese use the and Comparing with Vietnam while
it's way behind compaI believe the Internet technology could be
harnessed all realized that the Internet provided significant benefits
to the the West had great benefits from the Internet, I believe
the West had great benefit the As you can envision, Tri' Viet has
unprecedented power in jump-starting our countrymen's knowledge
by the millions, at many levels and for many generations to come.
Individually, neither you nor I can build Tri' Viet ourselves,
even as a small group we still cannot build Tri' Viet. However,
there are brilliant and dedicated Vietnamese people around the world
who share the same vision with us, all we need is a sense of sharing,
courage, and the will to step forward and work together. Together,
not only we can build Tri' Viet but also demonstrate that we, oversea
Vietnamese people can put aside our differences and come together
for humanitarian causes.
Together, our combined wisdom and effort will make a difference.
Together, we make sure CRCTVN can keep its vision, mandate and integrity
in the years to come, and together we can be forever proud of our
participation and effort for the Tri' Viet project.
I hope you will join us in making the world a kinder place to live
for all."
