Conference Results
CRCTVN annual conference provides opportunities for participants
from around the world to get together to review CRCTVN projects'
progress, discuss strategies, and establish new projects and plan
for subsequent years.
The first CRCTVN annual conference will be hosted from June
10 to June 13, 2002 at a camping site in British Columbia, Canada.
Main objectives of this year's conference are to create comprehensive
plans in
1. Informing caring Vietnamese living abroad about the vision and
the goals of CRCTVN and
2. Recruiting members for the CRCTVN core team, which will be responsible
for the operation and the growth of the CRCTVN Society.
The conference will end with a guided tour (June 13 to June
15) for visitors to explore the beautiful super natural British
Columbia. Please see the Guided Tour section for more details.

its super natural beauty, beaches, ski hills, mountain bike and
hiking trails, international cuisines, seafood, China town, imported
tropical fruit paradise, Vietnamese fishing village, etc. Where
else in North America that allows you in early June to go skiing
in the morning and ocean swimming in the afternoon within 30 miles
ride?
Our guided tour will take you to explore Vancouver and Victoria,
two of the top ten destinations in North America for so many years.

For conference registration information, please download the registration
form, fill out and mail it to us.


Stave Lake is 2 hours from Vancouver International Airport. The
Lodge and campsite reside on the shore of the lake, isolated from
residential area, in a West Coast forest environment. Outdoor recreation
includes canoeing, hiking, swimming, volleyball.
The campsite has six satellite tent pads, in addition it also has
a big heated lodge with bathrooms, hot showers, and two dormitory-style
sleeping areas can accommodate 50 people overnight. The lodge also
has a dining room, common area and kitchen facilities including
large cooking shelter with electrical outlets.
There are two outdoor fire circles located near the beach front.
Firewood is provided.
It is essential that each of us bring along sleeping bag and tent
if you prefer to sleep in your own tent.

Arriving at the Vancouver International Airport?
Our welcome party wagon will greet you at the airport if you have
indicated on the Registration Form that you need assistant when
arriving at the Vancouver International Airport. Please make sure
you give us the following necessary information:
. Airline name and flight number
. Arrival time
. How many people in your group
Arriving by Car?
Once we received your registration, we will send you the confirmation
together with the Conference Package which includes maps, detail
instructions and contact names.
Do We Provide Meals During the Conference?
Yes, we provide breakfast, lunch and dinner each day.
Vancouver Weather During the Conference Period?
The weather during the June conference will be balmy, with day time
hights of 20-25 Celcius and nigh time lows of 16-20 Celcius. Please
bring spring or light winter jackets. Rain coats would be handy.
