Tri' Viet's database would contain knowledge in many subject matters, ranging from agriculture to biotechnology, from fishery management to software development, advanced technologies, etc. Access to this database is free.

The web-based knowledge center has four main features:

Knowledge Database

1. A collection of articles, photos, audios, videos about a wide range of subjects. Materials are organized, classified and ranked according to their level of technical difficulty.
   
   
2. A collection of "why" articles explaining the mystery of all types of phenomenon.
   
   
3. A collection of "how-to" articles containing step-by-step instructions on how to build/maintain all kinds of things.

Knowledge Search Engine

1. Allows users of varying age and educational levels to search and retrieve materials appropriate to their levels. For example, to learn all about plastic, one would key in the word "plastic," the engine would show a list of articles to be read in order.

Knowledge Collector

1. Enables contributors to share their knowledge.
   
   
2. Contributors need not be a recognized expert in a field or have formal education to contribute knowledge. For example, a self-taught skillful jeweller upon retirement would have more to contribute than a top student just out of school.
   
   
3. Contributions can be unsolicited or solicited. Unsolicited contributions can be articles that have educational and practical value. Simply translate them into Vietnamese and e-mail both to the center. Solicited contributions focus on certain topics and require certain guidelines to be followed to eliminate duplication.

Bulletin Board / Forum

1. Encourages users to post questions, share experiences and solutions with each other.
